Expanding Your Knowledge

If you are looking to expand your knowledge, learn something new or review information in your field, the Openware Consortium might be able to help.

Many colleges and universities, from around the world offer classes, for free, via the internet. You won’t receive college credits and won’t have access to the professors, but you can go at your own pace and take a course.

Courses are offered in many different subjects, from mathematics, to biology to music. Anything you want to learn about can be found somewhere.

The Openware Consortium lists higher learning institutions and links to each individual site. You can browse through the different course offerings.

Some of the U.S. universities include:

  • John Hopkins School of Public Health

  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology

  • University of California

  • University of Notre Dame

There are many more in the U.S. as well as around the world.

Visit Open Consortium and expand your mind.
